FAQ - Vaam Video

How access to video content is authenticated

Access to video content is provided on two levels:

.1Access to create, edit, and delete content. This is authenticated via the user's login, which can be done either through email/password combination or via one of the following providers: Google, Microsoft, GitHub.
.2View content. This is available to anyone on the internet who has a unique link to the video. The links are randomly created and unguessable; web crawlers do not index them.

How video content in the service is protected

The nature of our service is such that anyone should be able to access the video, given that they have a unique link to the video. However, the video content is protected from viewing because the links are not publicly accessible.

Is it possible to create logs and track persons accessing the data in the service?

No. We log and track internal access to specific data, but we don't provide this functionality to users or customers.
